This week, students were given a presentation on the FortifyFL app. This app is where students or families would be able to report a threat to the schools. H.B. 1473, which went into effect on July 1, requires that students view a presentation on the app within the first 5 days of school. It is also required that a poster about the app in located in high traffic areas throughout the school. The Department of Education provided us with a presentation for elementary and secondary students (two different presentations). You can view the presentations below.
